Labor Unions

( http://jonesview.files.wordpress.com/2008/03/unions21.jpg) Labor unions. Where to start on labor unions. Strikes are coming up left and right. The strike for three loaves was the most recent. Workers had a decrease in pay. About 32 cents were taken out of the workers pay. That's enough to buy three loaves of bread. They could barely get enough bread as it is let alone decreasing their pay. Workers cant afford to feed their families and families starve. Little kids to adults. Not everyone is getting enough food. This really puts the emphasis on 'there are starving kids in -insert country here- that would love to have that.' Workers formed labor unions in response to intolerable working conditions, low wages, and long hours. I think labor unions are okay, I mean. When workers banded together it pressured employers to respond to their demands. This whole experience in the 1800s has been really fun. Learning more about all these different goingons from the actual people has been great. See ya later!
